Timberland is planting 50 million trees around the world

Timberland, the global outdoor lifestyle brand, announces they will plant 50 million trees over the next 5 years thanks to partnerships with various non profits. The new campaign is called “Plant the Change”. Timberland knows that trees feed, shelter and sustain us so we must stand up to improve the quality of our planet. In Mali, Timberland is creating a wall of vegetation that stretches across Africa, known as the Great Green Wall. Other projects will soon begin in Haiti, the US, Tanzania, China and the Dominican Republic. 

Since 2001, Timberland has already planted 10 million trees. Aside from planting trees, the apparel company is also using more renewable energy than ever before.
