South Sudan Has Ended It's Civil War

A new unity government has been formed in South Sudan by opposition leaders. The President Salva Kiir declared war as officially over. South Sudan has been in a civil war for almost 10 years but it is finally over. While the country is still in the beginning phases of unity, hopes of continued peace are high. Creating this new unity government is one step in the right direction towards a brighter future.

While the president addressed the nation and informed them of the new change, he also encouraged everyone to forgive one another. President Kiir has hired his former deputy, Riek Machar and offered protection for Machar and any of his group members. Let’s send South Sudan some love and good thoughts as the country transitions towards unity. May the transition be peaceful and peace everlasting.
