Teen grocery worker has received over $100k for college after act of kindness

17 year old Jack Ryan was shopping in the supermarket Rouses with his dad when he noticed a worker stocking refrigerator shelves. Although Jack is autistic and does not verbally communicate much, hedecided he wanted to help.

❥What’s even nicer is the worker, Jordan Taylor,  “took the time to slow down and allow Jack Ryan to help for over 30 minutes, guiding him as he finished his task,". Jacks sister Delaney said in a Facebook post.

❥Their interaction was caught on video by Jacks dad before sister Delaney shared it on Facebook. After the video began to circulate the internet, Rouses supermarket offered Jack a part time job as a stocker.

❥What happened next is even more amazing. Jack’s sister Delaney was so appreciative of Jordan’s kindness that she set up a Go Fund Me to send Jordan to college. Within just one day, it already generated over $50k! That one act of kindness has now brought in over $100k for Jordan’s college fund. That in itself is amazing and is reminder that good people still exist.

❥In a Facebook post on Monday, Jacks sister Delaney wrote: "Talk about a stand up young man!!!!! ... We all know autism makes makes going out difficult and sometimes grocery stores can be a challenge... he (Jordan) let him have his moment and in turn gave my family a moment we will never forget."

❥As of Monday night the campaign has raised over $116k with an original goal of $100k! Looks like Jordan’s four year degree is covered. 😊
