Architects install see-saws along border wall so kids can play together

Architect Ronald Rael spearheaded a project to install see-saws along the US-Mexico border wall. The see-saws were installed this Sunday and everyone is loving it! If you want to visit it, you can find them at the steel beams separating Sunland Park New Mexico and Colonia Anapra.

The idea was first born in 2009 and ten years later he’s making it a reality thanks to a collaboration with Juarez based artist collective,  Colectivo Chopeke.

In an Instagram post he said :

"children and adults were connected in meaningful ways on both sides with the recognition that the actions that take place on one side have a direct consequence on the other side."
