This Pop Up Store Gave Free toys to homeless children

CS Hudson is a company that builds pop-up stores for retailers but now they’ve decided to start a new project and they’re calling it Pop Up For Good. Designed to create experiences that give back, the company brought together homeless children as young as 2 and gave them free gifts at a pop up held at the Tanger Outlets in Riverhead, NY. The children came from a nearby homeless shelter to pick out their free toys.Co founder Joseph Scaretta told Fast Co. “We wanted the store to be as if we were building it for any client–we wanted it to have all the bells and whistles, all the fixings. We didn’t want to throw some paint on the wall and put some toys on the shelves, we wanted every detail thought out for them to have an amazing experience.”

This is just the beginning though. In December, the company held 2 pop-up coat drives in NYC for a nonprofit. Expect to see more in the near future. Imagine if big retailers started doing this?
