New Eco-friendly sneaker is made out of corn waste

 📍 (France)

French sustainable sneaker company Veja has created something that is not only unique but also good for the environment. Their latest sneaker is made out of canvas, waxed with 50% corn waste from the food industry. To be exact, it’s the corn husks that humans don’t eat mixed with the leather alternative, polyurethane. The combination is called CWL and is 63% biodegradable.
