Supermarket in Thailand replaces plastic with banana leaves

Rimping supermarket decided they wanted to get reduce plastic packaging. The Chiang Mai supermarket figured out a creative way to do so! Instead of plastic packaging, they’re wrapping vegetables with banana leaf! Since the leaf is thick, it’s a great plastic alternative, not to mention it’s biodegradable and easily found locally.
