Ford will now use wind energy to produce its F-150 truck

The Detroit based auto maker made this exciting announcement the other day! Ford was able to obtain 500,000 megawatt hours of Michigan wind energy through DTE Energy’s MIGreenPower program. Ford also says two of their facilities in Michigan will be powered by 100% locally sourced renewable energy by 2021.
