Crenshaw and Slauson Ave will be renamed Nipsey Hussle Square
In honor of the late rapper, community leader and entrepreneur, the city of Los Angeles has decided to rename the intersection of Crenshaw Blvd and West Slauson Ave. Nipsey was all about giving back to the community he grew up in. He really invested in the area, including a co-working space called Vector90 that held a STEM program for youth. His message was to give back, end gang violence and lift up your community. That is what he will remembered by and the location of his store, Marathon Clothing, will now be on Ermias “Nipsey Hussle” Asghedom Square .
