A course on Selena's influence and culture is coming to SDSU

It’s been over 20 years since Selena has passed on, but her legacy still remains. Today would’ve been her 48th birthday and in her honor, San Diego State University shared some exciting news. The Southern California school will be adding a course that explores Selena’s influence and culture. Assistant Professor Nathan Shae Rodriguez will be offering the course starting spring 2020. He made the announcement via Twitter on her birthday and people are loving it.
