Millions of students worldwide protested today for climate change

Students around the world protested today against lack of action to stop climate change. In Melbourne, there were over 100,000 protestors. Organizers said it was the largest climate action in the history of Australia. London also had a large turnout of over 100,000 protestors. Students in Nairobi, Pakistan, Brussels, Stockholm, New York City, Baltimore, St. Petersburg and dozens more cities worldwide protested in what may be the largest in the world’s history.

The students have had enough and are stepping up to let the world know it’s time we take action. The world has never seen a movement of students that has united races and classes for a common goal. Greta Thunberg was expected to speak at the NYC demonstration this afternoon.

updates will be posted as they come in.
