Atlanta family starts initiative to provide essentials to those living on street
A family of nine in Atlanta, Georgia realized they were fortunate to not be financially impacted by COVID 19. This inspired the family to give back to the less fortunate, specifically those who don’t have access to sanitization or hygiene products. So the family joined together to provide food and basic essentials to those living on the streets of Atlanta.
Putting together their own money to get all of the items they needed to donate was the beginning of their initiative ATL Giveback Gang. After their first effort, the family took to social media to let others know about their new initiative. This not only inspired others to donate, but it inspired someone in Kentucky to start their own giveback gang. One of the family members, Branisha, said:
The goal to continue to inspire others to recreate ATL Giveback Gang in their local cities to actively make an impact.
