Luxembourg will offer free mass transit for everyone
Starting this summer 2019, Luxembourg will begin removing fares on their trains, trams and buses. According to the country, nearly 200,000 people living in France, Belgium and Germany cross the border everyday to work.
Over this past summer, the government began offering free transport for “every child and young person under 20 years old”.
There is still some fine details that need to be focused on before the change is fully implemented.
