Britain's Labour Party Will Pay For Solar Panels on 1 Million Homes

Britain’s Labour Party just made a huge announcement. One million government-subsidized homes will get free solar panels provided by the party. 750,000 low income homes will get interest free loans to get the solar panels. Any additional electricity produced from the panels will go back to the nations grid. Local authorities will publicly own the grid. Thanks to this program, there will be 17,000 jobs added. 

This new plan includes another commitment by the political party. 60% of electricity and heat in the UK will come from renewable sources by 2030. So the Labour Party has created their own green new deal that will take in effect if they win.
