LA clothing line Kids of immigrants is helping fund shelter for migrants with new collab
Kids of Immigrants is a clothing line based out of LA that was founded by two first generation Americans, Daniel Buezo and Welch Dennis. Non profit Border Angels recently partnered with the clothing company to help migrants seeking asylum along the US-Mexico border. Throjgh the collab came a hoodie that has either the message “Spread Love” or “Love has no borders” across the front. All proceeds from sales of the hoodies will help fund an extra wing at the Border Angels shelter located in Tijuana.
Men, women and children from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador stay at the shelter while awaiting the asylum process. The hoodies were available until the end of February but you can still help! Kids of Immigrants has set up a go fund me to raise $8,500 to build the extra wing at Border Angels.
