Tessa Thompson will play first LGBTQ superhero and Natalie Portman plays female Thor

At Comic-Con, Marvel made a pretty big announcement. Natalie Portman will play a female Thor in the upcoming movie, Thor: Love and Thunder. That’s not the only big change Marvel is making for the upcoming Thor movie. Actress Tessa Mae Thompson will play the first openly LGBTQ superhero, Valkyrie. It seems Marvel is ready to embrace diversity in a big way.
