The last supermoon of the year is lighting up the sky

And this is the first full moon to land on the spring equinox since 2000! This won’t happen again until 2030. Tonight’s full moon is called the ‘worm moon’ because that’s when earth worms start to appear since the weather gets warmer. 

🌝 As long as the skies are clear, you’ll be able to witness the moon in the northern hemisphere. National Geographic says the best time is after the sunsets today and tomorrow.
