Carrots and sweet potatoes are being dropped to endangered rock-wallabies

NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service started dropping food for endangered wallabies across the state. Over the past week, sweet potatoes and carrots have been dropped and will continue until “sufficient natural food and resources” are available again. With the severe drought and brush fires that Australia is facing, it’s important that wildlife is protected.

If you’re in Australia and see a koala who needs water, the Animalia Wildlife Shelter in Victoria has warned to not give water through water bottle. They posted on Facebook not to pour the water, let them drink at their own pace. The shelter instead advises to place a bowl of water on the floor.
