Alaska man travels 14 hours a week to feed his town
📍 Gustavus, Alaska
Toshua owns the only grocery store in his Alaska town. He normally gets his food and essential supply deliveries from Costco by a ferry. Unfortunately the ferry has stopped running due to current circumstances.
So to make sure his remote town, which you can only access by boat, has everything they need, Toshua took matters into his own hands. At least once a week Toshua brings a team with him to travel by boat and pick up essentials from a Costco in the states capital. It may be a 14 hour round-trip, which can sometimes be delayed due to extreme weather but Toshua wants to make sure his town has food and the essential supplies they need.
