New Hampshire high school hosting graduation ceremony on ski lifts

In the age of social distancing, we’ve all had to rethink how to  celebrate everything from weddings to graduations and more. A high school in New Hampshire decided to think outside the box to make the graduation still happen.

Principal Kevin Carpenter at Kennett high school reached out to Cranmore Mountain resort asking if they would take a special request. The school wanted to hold their graduation ceremony using the ski lifts at the resort. Thankfully the resort not only said yes but they also said it would be free of charge! Perks of living in a ski town. All 172 graduates will ride the ski lift up to grab their diploma when it’s their turn. Now that’s a cool graduation. Congratulations to the class of 2020! 🎓
