Crayola releases new pack of crayons to represent diversity
Crayola is calling their new box of crayons colors of the world. The crayons are meant to represent a more diverse world with over 40 shades of skin tones.The brand said that every child should be able to accurately color themselves.
The crayon company has finally taken notice that inclusivity is important.
"With the world growing more diverse than ever before, Crayola hopes our new Colors of the World crayons will increase representation and foster a greater sense of belonging and acceptance," says Crayola CEO Rich Wuerthele.
Their crayons come in both a 32 pack and 24. Colors of the world will start on shelves this July.
